Threaded Inlet Strainer Kit for Stock Tank Pools - Fits Intex Filter Pumps with 1-1/2 Hoses
Installation Steps: 1. Locate a 4" x 4" area on the side of your stock tank that is free of ribs. 2. Drill a 2-3/4" hole, ensuring a minimum clearance of 3/4" around the tank's ribs. 3. If the tank has vertical ribs, apply a bead of silicone caulk on the flat rubber washer that faces the tank. Then, insert the connector after applying the silicone. 4. From the inside of the tank, allow the threaded connector and rubber washer to slide through the hole. 5. Tighten the components as much as possible. 6. Finally, connect the plunger valves and pump hoses (not included).
The threaded inlet strainer kit is sold as a combo, including a rubber washer and strainer nut. The integrated design facilitates convenient and fast installation, and the simple appearance is suitable for daily use.
The inlet strainer combo is injection-molded, crafted from high-density rubber and high-quality plastic material. The rubber washer is soft enough to provide a watertight seal effect. Additionally, the low-profile strainer nut is compatible with thicker tank pools.
Please ensure that your pump has 1-1/2" threaded hoses. If not, you will need a (1-1/4" to 1-1/2") adapter for 1-1/4" hoses. A flat 4" x 4" area on the side of your stock tank, free of ribs, is also required for the threaded inlet strainer.
The inlet strainer is compatible with Intex Filter Pumps with 1-1/2" hoses. The product is white in color and measures 4.17 x 4.06 x 4.02 inches, weighing 3.52 ounces.
